Welcome to ELA 10! This year our first marking period will be spent on debate. You will learn about argumentative and constructive speeches by listening to, reading, and discussing speeches in their historical contexts. You'll be writing and presenting your own persuasive speeches, and we will perform a series of debates in front of a panel of your peers and a debate judge.
